qtubuntu-media software package provides QtMultimedia plugin for AAL+, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qtubuntu-media
qtubuntu-media is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qtubuntu-media package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qtubuntu-media *
You will get with qtubuntu-media package name, version, architecture and description in a table
